About John Brun

Hi, my name is John Brun, and I’m a billiard player from Colorado Springs.

I’m 45 years old, live with my beautiful wife and our 3 amazing kids. I decided to start writing this blog about Wild billiards just after my youngest son started playing also.

For the past 21 years, I have been dedicating a lot of my time and energy to the game of billiards. Over this period, I have participated in countless tournaments and competitions at local, regional, and international levels.

Throughout these years, I developed a passion for the game that goes beyond just aiming for the pocket; it’s about understanding the table’s geometry, or recognizing different types of shots, while also taking into account many other factors like spin and speed.

It has been an incredible journey that has allowed me to meet some amazing people who share this same passion as me. Through all these experiences, I’ve come to understand how much dedication needs to be put in to achieve excellence in billiards.

For instance, one must develop an eye for details and practice diligently in order to master the game. Moreover, it requires patience and concentration when playing to maintain a high level of performance during tournaments.

Something else that happened throughout my journey as a billiard player was learning how important it is to stay humble when facing defeat. Of course, it is only sometimes possible to win every single match, but learning from mistakes can help you become better at the game.

This way, you can focus on what matters: having fun while improving your skills one shot at a time!

Billiards is more than just a game to me – it’s a passion. I dedicate a lot of time to playing and studying the game, and I hope to share that passion with you through this blog.

There is so much more to billiards than meets the eye, and I can’t wait to explore it all with you!

Thank you for taking the time to read my blog! As a passionate billiard player, I’m always thrilled to share my knowledge and experiences with others.

Make every easy shot, and make every shot easy.

Until next time,

John Brun
